Ingredients
Avocado snails
- 1 avocado
- 100 g cream cheese or dairy spread
- 2 slices of wholemeal bread (or other bread)
- 12 snack cucumbers
Kitchen tools
- 12 cocktail sticks
Preparation method
- Slice the avocado all the way around the stone. Twist the two halves apart. Remove the stone and scoop the flesh out of the skin with a spoon. Mash finely. Combine the cream cheese and the mashed avocado.
- Remove the crusts from bread. Spread some of the avocado mixture onto each slice. Roll up the slices and cut them into 6 rolls.
Slice away the base from the snack cucumbers so they remain upright. Attach each roll to a cucumber with a cocktail stick. Repeat the steps above to make the rest of the snails.
