Ingredients
Physalis and apple galette
- 5 sheets of puff pastry
- 5 apples
- 200 g physalis
- 1 lime
- 100 g fine caster sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 egg
- flour for dusting

Preparation method
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
- Defrost the puff pastry. Slice the apples into small cubes. Remove the paper-like husk from the physalis berries and rinse them. Squeeze the lime.
- Mix the apple with the physalis, sugar, cinnamon and lime juice.
- Lightly dust the worksurface with flour. Stack the sheets of puff pastry neatly together. Roll the pastry with a rolling pin until you have a circle of approx. 35 cm Spoon the apple mixture into the centre leaving a gap of approx. 5 cm around the edge. Fold the edge of the pastry over the fruit.
- Beat the egg and brush over the pastry. Bake the galette in the middle of the oven for approx. 25 minutes until golden brown and cooked.
- Serving tip: Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
