Strawberry-thyme lemonade
Make your own lemonade. Add thyme to give the drink an exciting twist. The flavours of thyme and strawberry make a great combination. Try it out and surprise your friends!

Ingredients
Lemonade
- 100 g sugar
- 1 tbsp honey or agave syrup
- 200 g strawberries
- 1 lime
- 2 sprigs of thyme
- Ice cubes (optional)
Preparation method
- Bring 300 ml of water with the sugar and honey to the boil. Reduce over a low heat for about 5 mins. until it forms a syrup. Remove the crowns from the strawberries. Slice the strawberries.
- Squeeze the lime. Pour the juice into a carafe and add the sliced strawberries and the thyme. Pour the hot syrup into the carafe and leave for 10 minutes to develop the flavours. Add another 1 litre of cold water and keep in the fridge until use. Serve with ice cubes if wished.
