Mini leeks

A leek, but sweeter and more tender

The leeks you normally find in the shop are also available in an EAT ME mini version. And it's not just the size of mini leeks that sets them apart. The mini leek is sweeter and more tender. Its taste will probably remind you of spring onion.

It might be small, but it is an exact copy or a large leek: slightly bulbous at the base, with wider, flat leaves at the top and a colour that ranges from creamy white to dark green. The vegetable is built up of layers of stacked, folded leaves.

Recipes with Mini leeks

Preparation

Simply wash mini leeks before use. Depending on the condition, you may have to remove the outer leaves. Then prepare the mini leek whole or slice into rings. Mini leeks are also prefect for stir-frying.
