Ingredients
Mango trifle
- 250 ml whipping cream
- 500 ml Greek yoghurt 0%
- 2 mangoes
- 8-10 wholemeal biscuits
- 4 Easter eggs (optional)
Kitchen tools
- Mixer
Preparation method
- Whip the cream with the mixer until almost stiff. Add the yoghurt to the cream spooning as lightly as possible.
- Cut the mango into two halves along the stone. Score each half into squares without cutting through the skin. Turn out the halves with your thumb and slice off the cubes. Or use a mango slicer. Roughly chop the biscuits into large crumbs.
- Reserve some mango and biscuit as a garnish. Divide half of the mango over 4 glasses and sprinkle with half of the biscuit crumbs. Spoon half of the yoghurt/cream mixture on top. Repeat the layers and garnish with the reserved mango and biscuit crumbs and an Easter egg.
Fun fact: Trifle means a thing of little importance. Because making a trifle is so quick and easy - not because it doesn't taste good!
Enjoy!
