Crostini with blueberries and cream cheese

These crunchy bites are perfect as an appetiser, a healthy snack or when served during a drinks event. The blueberries are full of antioxidants and combine amazingly with the soft, creamy texture of the cream cheese. It is a deliciously simple recipe and ideal for any occasion, whether you are hosting a party or just want to enjoy something delicious.

Ingredients

Crostini

  • 1 brown baguette
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • Blue Berries Product Photo
    125 g blueberries
  • 1 punnet of cress (optional)
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation method

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180 °C.
  2. Cut the baguette into slices and place on a baking tray. Bake for 5-10 minutes. Turn over the slices halfway through the baking time. Allow to cool for 5 minutes.
  3. Spread the cream cheese over the crostini and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Slice half of the blueberries into halves. Divide the blueberries over the crostini. Drizzle the honey over the crostini and garnish with the cress.
