Ingredients
Marinated rambutans
- 12 rambutan + extra for garnish
- 1 cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp ginger syrup
- 1 lime
Preparation method
- Slice around the rambutans and remove the skin and the stone.
- Halve the cayenne pepper lengthwise, remove the seeds and finely slice the flesh. Add to a mixing bowl with the rambutans and ginger syrup.
- Scrub the lime, zest the green skin and squeeze the juice. Stir the zest and juice through the rambutans and leave to marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
- Tip: Garnish with halved rambutans.
