Ingredients
Chicken satay
- 350 g chicken fillet
- 1 rawit chilli
- 1 shallot
- Half an lime
- 4 tbsp sweet soy sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
Nasi
- 1 EL Sojasauce
- 3 shallots
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tub of nasi goreng spice paste
- 600 g mixed nasi goreng vegetables
- 125 g bean sprouts
- 2 tbsp sweet soy sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cucumber

Preparation method
- Start by preparing the chicken satay. Slice the chicken breast into 1.5 cm cubes. Halve the pepper lengthwise, remove the seeds and finely slice the flesh. Use half of the pepper for the chicken satay. Finely chop the shallot.
- Mix the chicken with the pepper, shallot, soy sauce and lime juice. Marinate for 10 minutes.
- Now start preparing the rice. Cook the rice according to the instructions on the package. Leave to cool.
- Finely chop the shallot and garlic.
- Heat the sesame oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Add the spice paste, shallot and remaining rawit pepper and stir-fry for 3 minutes.
- Add the vegetables and stir-fry until cooked for 5 minutes. Add the bean sprouts and the cooked rice at the end of the 5 minutes and stir well.
- Season the rice with some soy sauce.
- Heat the olive oil in a pan and fry the chicken for about 5-6 minutes until it is cooked.
- Rinse the cucumber and slice thinly.
- Divide the rice over the plates. Top with the chicken satay.
- Serve the rice with the cucumber.
Tip: serve with a fried egg and some peanut sauce.
