Grilled plantain skewers

- BBQ or grill pan
- 8 wooden skewers soaked in cold water for 1 hour
Preparation method
- Peel the plantains and cut across diagonally into 2 cm slices.
- Slide four slices of plantain onto each skewer. Grill the skewers on the barbecue for approx. 4 minutes or grill for approx. 6 minutes in a grill pan. Turn the skewers constantly.
- Serving tip: Tasty with spicy peanut sauce, Surinamese sambal or sweet chilli sauce.
